GW in Cambridge, Massachusetts. General Orders were written from the Headquarters of Cambridge ordering the repositioning of regiments to guard against a sudden British attack.

The Mass. provincial congress wrote an address to GW, warmly welcoming him. The address also discussed the youthfulness of the army, which had been newly raised.  It commented on its relative lack of experience, but signs of strength and bravery.
