GW dined at Cowley’s Tavern in Richmond and returned to spend the night at Col. Archibald Cary’s.  GW spent the day at the Second Va. Convention, where representatives heard reports from the seven delegates who were present at the First Continental Congress.

Thomas Cresap wrote back to GW informing him that he had just received GW’s letter from 7 Feb.  Cresap said he did not take any land belonging to GW’s brother, that in fact GW’s brother had been in possession of land that rightfully belonged to Cresap.  They had resolved the matter between them to prevent a lawsuit.
