GW had breakfast at Cheyn’s Tavern, which was located thirteen miles to the east of Baltimore, Md. He had dinner at John Rodgers’ tavern, in Susquehanna Lower Ferry, Md. Rogers was a Scottish emigrant who came to America in 1760 and eventually served as a colonel during the Revolutionary War. GW spent the night at William Stephenson’s tavern, which was also located in Susquehanna Lower Ferry.
