GW at Mount Vernon. He spent time with Gen. Charles Lee as they traveled to Robert Adams’s Fishing Landing. Sisters Mrs. Thomas Blackburn and Mrs. William Brown dined with them and stayed the night.

Va. Gov. Lord Dunmore wrote GW that the land patents under the Proclamation of 1754 were to be declared null and void if the men who had surveyed them were found to have been unqualified. William Milnor wrote to GW about the order GW placed 23 Jan. for supplies for the Prince William Independent Company, confirming that the officers’ sashes were no longer needed and that the arms were ready to be shipped.
