GW at Mount Vernon all day. In his diary, GW reports a “Mr. Stone” dined there.

GW wrote a letter to James Cleveland requesting him to get corn provisions and canoes for transportation to his “Lands on the Ohio.” GW offered Cleveland money for his services.

A letter from Edmund Pendleton to GW written on this day asked his assistance in settling a financial transaction involving Pendleton’s brother and the sale of land along the Ohio River.
