Architect James Coor wrote to GW asking him to reappoint him as the Naval Officer for the port of Beauford in S.C. He would not receive this appointment.

The pastor of New York’s Christ Church, John Christopher Kunze, wrote to GW asking that the government help fund a Lutheran pastor who was going on missions to convert Indian tribes.
