GW at Mount Vernon. He wrote in his diary that Benedict Calvert and “the Gentlemen from Maryland” left in the morning. Nathaniel Harrison and another guest came for dinner.

GW at Mount Vernon. He had company in the afternoon. These people included Benedict Calvert, John Beale Bordley, Launcelot Jacques, Andrew Wagener, Dr. William Rumney, and Va.

GW at Mount Vernon. He again rode out “to see the Sick”--presumably among his slaves--and also went fox hunting. His hunt found nothing.

GW at Mount Vernon. He found a fox while hunting but did not kill it.  Doctor William Rumney again visited the Sick--most likely slaves--and returned for dinner.

GW at Mount Vernon. Doctor William Rumney “visited the Sick”--most likely slaves.  Rumney returned for dinner and stayed overnight.  Alexander Ross came only for dinner.
