GW arrived in New York City, en route to Cambridge, Massachusetts. He wrote three letters today. The first was to Maj. Gen. Philip Schuyler.

GW in Philadelphia for the Second Continental Congress. He had dinner at Vauxhall, a tavern owned by Thomas Mullen near the Schuylkill River.

GW in Philadelphia for the Second Continental Congress.  GW went to church in the morning.

GW in Philadelphia for the Second Continental Congress.  GW dined at wealthy Philadelphia merchant Robert Morris’s home on the Schuylkill River and spent the evening at the City Tavern.
